What is Microsoft SharePoint?

SharePoint is Microsoft’s intranet solution. The focus here is on sharing files, data, news, resources and centralised collaboration within and outside the company. Among other things, personalised news can be played out, information and know-how can be conveyed and a digital working environment can be created using lists, libraries, Microsoft Flow and Microsoft PowerApps, in which forms, workflows and customised apps are provided on almost any device. Microsoft SharePoint is available from 4.20 Euros per month and user. The basic package – Plan 1 – primarily targets small and medium-sized businesses. For larger companies, Microsoft recommends SharePoint Online Plan 2 or Office 365 E3 for 8.40 and 19.70 Euros per month, respectively.
